Sferra Fine Linens
Now, I’m a sucker for luxury and for linens, so when I heard that Sferra was having a sample sale in Chelsea Market last week, I made immediate plans to scour their selection before throngs of shoppers picked over the goods.
Sferra is not your average bedding company; the Italian company was established in Venice in 1981 as a premium lace cuff and collar manufacturer. Today, Sferra brings that ultra-refined level of intricacy and revere to the breadth of their massive collection, churning out some of the highest quality bedding, bath and table linens that money can buy.
Here are some images from my trip to the Sferra Sample Sale at Chelsea Market that ran through last weekend (not the first and surely not the last). The stock of each selection is replenished daily, but items begin to diminish come the 3rd day or so. My advice is to arrive early (see: photo of the line) on the first or second day and have your pick of all the clearance-price linens your heart desires.
